Local uni student, Jamie Wilson (20) had never once questioned the Bush administration.

Even though he was only 10-years-old when George Bush was replaced by Obama in 2008, Jamie recalls having nothing but blind trust in the presidency that dragged the western world into two ongoing wars in the middle east.

James thought nothing of it. That was until two nights ago… When he ripped a couple of hot ones and watched Zeitgeist on Youtube.

Zeitgeist: The Movie is a 2007 film by Peter Joseph presenting a number of conspiracy theories. The film assembles archival footage, animations and narration. Released online on June 18, 2007, it soon received tens of millions of views on online video streaming websites.

Often accompanied by the recreational use of marijuana, the documentary delves into questioning the commonly held theories surrounding organised religion, gold standard currency and the 9/11 World Trade Centre attacks.

“It was all about oil, man” said Jamie, with a crimson tint in his eyes.

“They found a passport in the rubble”

Jamie’s ethics lecturer, Gretel Van Hekerooney says she has seen this phase in thousands of students before him, and says it looks as though the young arts student has finally triggered his ‘lefty’ phase, through questioning just about everything world governments are responsible for.

“This will wrap up by the time he lodges a tax return and doesn’t get any money back”

“Five or so years from now”

Jamie, however, says being woke isn’t something you can go back from.

“Man, there’s no way I’m going to become a pawn for the Rothschild or the Rockerfellers, man”

“No way”
