Labor leader Bill Shorten has made a cunning dash to win over voters from Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs today, by fronting a media conference today with boutique sunglasses folded over the top button of a crisp white linen shirt.
Speaking in front of the cameras today, it was also clear that shorten had made a conscious effort to correctly pronounce words beginning with ‘t-h’ – instead of using an ‘f’ sound, like he usually does.
He was also seen to be making of point of using the same terminology as the affluent younger voters in Turnbull’s electorate.
“The Government is acting heaaaps like they aren’t interested in the needs and wants of everyday people” he said.
“They need to just chill and stop being so etch”
It is believed Shorten’s appearance at the Sydney Mardi Gras last weekend has inspired him to further chase the sugar hit he experienced as the only federal party leader who had enough time to take three thousand selfies in Harbour cities CBD on a Saturday night.
While holding a take away coffee cup and flanked by two men wearing cane panama hats, Shorten’s media appearance was cut short after the MP declared that he ‘had to jet’.
Shorten was last seen ‘going for a sup [stand up paddle board]’ at one of Sydney’s sheltered eastern suburbs beach coves.
