A Bondi man is causing shockwaves around the nation, after revealing some groundbreaking news.
Speaking exclusively to our reporters from inside the Bondi Bubble, the resident of the glamorized coastal urban enclave explained that he’s got a new side hustle as a host on Turo.
While a man with a side hustle in Bondi isn’t exactly news, (given there are more entrepreneurial brain waves than Acaì bowls in the region), it’s the nature of the innovation that’s set tongues wagging.
The man in question is none other than Nedd Brockmann, who has revealed a side hustle on top of a side hustle, that doesn’t involve convincing people to buy cryptocurrency or matcha powder.
The famous running man who knocks over a 100ks for fun explained to The Advocate that he’s actually listing his new milk truck up onto the world’s largest car sharing app Turo.
“Mate, two birds one stone,” said the serial charity fundraiser.
“I’ll be taking a bit of a break over the back end of January, and people will be going on road trips and so on, so I figured why not let one lucky person book Ronda (Nedd’s milk truck) and I can make a bit more coin for We Are Mobilise.”
“You should list The Advocate’s Proton Jumbuck up on Turo while you’re down here. Make a bit of beer money in this cost of living crisis.”
Our reporter laughed.
Brockmann then asked our reporter to join him down at the North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club on Saturday morning to do Turo’s Run For A Road Trip challenge, where for every 1km they run on a treadmill alongside him, Turo offers $50 in Turo credit as well as donates $50 to charity.
Our reporter laughed again, and confirmed we’d see him down there for a choccy milk.
More to come.
