Self-described TERF and parliamentarian Scott Morrison said he was filled with joy today, as the father of two daughters and the husband of someone’s daughter as International Women’s Day “rolls around again”.

The Prime Minister, who moonlights as a radical feminist hellbent on protecting the rights of women around the world, explained being the head of a household made up exclusivly of ladies gives him a sense of pride, too.

“Today is a glorious day,” said Scott Morrison in Canberra this morning.

He lifted his eyes as the teleprompter rolled forward.

“As a father, as a husband, International Women’s Day has a special place in my household. There is also a small portrait of Julia Gillard in The Lodge, on days like this, I reach out and delicately touch the oil paint and run my hand down her cheek and say, ‘Boy, weren’t you misunderstood,’ and carry on my way.”

The PM’s speechwriter’s eyes widened.

He shot a look over at Scott Morrison’s Bloke Advisor and Chief-of-Staff. Both of which looked equally as concerned.

“Women, they are my favourite,” Scott continued.

“They are so great.”

Scott then looked over at his Chief-of-staff, who told him to wrap it up.

More to come.
