It has been officially confirmed in the Sunshine State today that the warmer weather is here.
This comes after a Brisbane mum, Lianne Hutchinson, made the official observation that jeez it’s pretty hot, a couple of months into Spring.
With some relatively colder and more miserable weather still managing to pop up, usually after picnic plans, many north of the Tweed were beginning to wonder if they were still in Winter.
However, the residents of the Great 8 State, need to wonder to more after Lianne proffered a definitive answer.
Speaking to a young Timber Expert down at her local Bunnings during her lunch break today, Lianne confirmed the change of season has actually happened, despite it ticking over nearly 6 weeks ago.
“Jeez, if it’s this hot now. Imagine what it’s going to be like over Christmas,” she said to the young man.
He responded with a non-committal double negative about it not being cold today.
“Just imagine, though” said the local footy club canteen mainstay, confirming Spring is off and racing.
“Was beginning to think winter was never going to break” she followed up with after realising the young man helping her load her 4WD up had stopped talking.
