Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor is Queen Elizabeth’s great-grandson. His father, Prince Harry, is sixth in line to the British throne; his mother, Meghan Markle is the Duchess of Sussex. Yet, Archie is not a prince.
The media narrative has always been that Harry and Markle intentionally opted for Archie to forego a royal title.
In fact, Markle said, this was not the case: The decision was made for them. “It was not our decision to make,” Markle said. Implying that Buckingham Palace were not interesting in seeing their son join the ranks of multi-millionaire dole-bludging artistocrats.
Some would say that is because the great-grandsons of the throne are not afforded the title of prince, meaning he will have to wait until the Queen carks it and his grandfather Charles becomes king before he gets his coveted
However others, including Meghan Markle and every single American watching last night’s interview with Oprah Winfrey – believe it is because of his African American heritage.
This theory has only been strengthened by the couple revelations that when Meghan was first pregnant there were “concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born”.
Buckingham Palace have all but confirmed their sentiments today in a press release condemning American comedian Eddie Murphy’s new comedy ‘Coming 2 America’
“The British Royal family condemns the revisionist nature of Eddie Murphy’s movies” read the official palace statement today.
“The concept of a confident black person of any gender being afforded royal status, in any capacity, is unrealistic”
“This is something we wanted to bring up earlier upon the release of the first instalment of this comedy franchise in the 1980s, but obviously we were a bit too busy tormenting the Princess of Wales and trying to not get murdered by the IRA”
“However, the current woes facing the Queen are all caused by the fact that black people have unrealistic expectations of the roles they can play in royal aristocracy.”
“These delusions have been given merit by the work of Eddie Murphy”
“Will Smith is also guilty of this. Regardless of how Fresh that Philly cat was. He should not go by the title of Prince! Especially in Bel-Air”
MORE TO COME.
