Buckingham Palace photographers have today faced a mad scramble, after leaving an important job until the last minute.
With the eve of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee arriving, the people in charge of photographing her have had to pull out all stops.
In charge of creating the incredibly curated happy snaps for royal enthusiasts to enjoy, the photographers have had to pay an urgent delivery fee to make sure everything was ready in time.
Picking up the phone to Madame Tussauds in London as well as an express courier service, the royal snappers were forced to pay extra to get Queen Liz delivered to the palace in the nick of time.
“It was touch and go there,” laughed one of the official photographers.
“Packaging everything thing up and making sure there wasn’t any melting issues.”
“But, we got it sorted just in time, and you can now see the lovely Platinum Jubilee photograph for yourself.”
“Just look at that smile would you?”
When asked about why the Queen needed to be picked up from a wax museum, the photographer laughed before a communications director jumped on the line to tell us how much Meghan and Kate hate each other.
“We’ve got more exclusive photos we can share with you, really would rile up your readers, she’s such a witch that prince stealer,” said the comms director.
“Give us your email, we’ll send them to you now.”
The Advocate declined the offer.
More to come.
