The severity of Trump’s foreign policy failings and his gross incapability as President has finally hit home for one Betoota local this morning after she checked the current AUD to USD exchange rate.
Up until this point, news on Trump had just been white noise to Grace Mangany, but now that his actions are directly affecting her, she can’t get enough of his buffoonery.
“Is this bloke for real?”
“Every decision Trump makes takes another $500 off my savings”
It’s believed what piqued Grace’s interest was when headlines informed the nation that the Australian Dollar is hitting decade lows, at one point trading for a measly 0.68USD.
“Thankfully it’s bounced back a little bit, but not enough for my liking”
Grace told our reporter that she was planning to go down to Mexico on her trip, but as the border wall stalemate continues to play out, she’s not sure it’s such a good idea.
“Well, like, what will this mean?”
“People haven’t been getting pay cheques while the government has been shut down”
“Are there going to be strikes?”
“The more I realise how it affects me, the angrier I get!”
“Surely, now, Americans can see that he is not fit for office”
With Grace due to fly out in just under a week and Trump’s mental instability worsening by the day, we can only offer our thoughts and prayers to her ahead of her holiday.
