Thirteen years after her break out hit ‘Scar’, Australian singer-songwriter Missy Higgins has today hinted at the possibility of releasing another album, after being spotted getting up to her old tricks outside her family home in Sydney.
Since 2004, the national treasure of Australian indie-acoustic has consistently remained in festival headlines and film scores around the country, however her fans say they are excited to learn that she might be back in the studio with shiny skin.
The 34-year-old superstar of Sony Singstar was spotted yesterday on the front lawn of her understated Spanish colonial-style Bondi deco house trying to get her shoulders through her miniature-sized hula hoop.
It is reported that Higgins’ triangular shaped torso was slightly too broad at the shoulders, and resulted in her being briefly stuck, and was forced to squeeze through.
“I got really excited, it made me think she might be writing music again” said one witness.
“Like I instantly got visions of her sitting at her desk with a card and bar of soap and a scrubbing brush next to a notepad full of new lyrics”
“Doesn’t it make you shiver with excitement?”
