An unlikely bond has formed between a mother of 3 and a local cocaine and ecstasy dealer this afternoon at a mutual friend’s barbecue.
It’s believed the pair’s conversation got off to a slow start, neither person seeing anything on a surface level that could foreshadow enjoyable conversation. That was until the mum saw a flash of the drug dealer’s car keys.
“Oh, I drive a Subaru too!” said the mum a little bit over excitedly.
The dealer, who may or may not have sampled some of his supply before the BBQ, was startled by the sudden gear shift in the convo but quickly caught up to speed and their banter was off.
“No way! Subaru’s are my favourite car. I have a WRX STI, rear spoiler, gold rims, she’s a beauty. What’ve you got?” asked the dealer.
“I’ve got an Outback, it’s brand new and I haven’t made any changes to it, but still”
It’s believed the two continued chatting for some time, long enough to capture the attention of the host and for her to become worried about the pair’s interaction.
“What on Earth could they be talking about?” she asked her husband.
“I don’t know, but it seems pretty animated” replied the husband
“Do you think she knows he’s a dealer? I hope she’s not back on the gear”
It’s understood that the bond Subaru owners share is unlike any other, in this case it’s especially true. At the time of press the two had been talking for over 1.5 hours and didn’t look like slowing any time soon.
