Kate Pugh’s boyfriend has this week committed a serious social faux pas at a restaurant, which not only is irredeemable in the eyes of her mates but also has him labelled a complete stinge.
It’s alleged this incident also coincided with meeting her friends for the very first time, leaving them all with a very bad taste in their mouths – which had nothing to do with the dinner.
Kate’s friends tell The Advocate that ‘Parker’ had been doing relatively well up until billing time, where he suddenly felt the need to insist on just splitting the bill by the number of people – despite consuming roughly $150 worth of cocktails and $100 worth of food.
“Everyone knows that unless it’s a set menu, you itemise the bill”, explains Louisa, “or if everyone’s had pretty similar things and you can’t be fucked taking the time.”
“But this cunt had the audacity to request splitting evenly. And he’s not hard on cash either!”
Adding that Parker had consumed the most food and drinks out of all of them, Louisa said the drama was made even worse, considering two of the people at the table were sober.
“I had one main and two beers, that’s $60 tops.”
“Splitting the bill evenly would have cost me $90.”
When asked if the group managed to settle things up, Louisa just lets out a loud snort.
“Luckily one of the guys offered to pay the bill and we could all just transfer.”
“But surprise surprise, he’s now short $120.”
