Staring in horror at the party bucket on the meeting room table, local intern Lily Long doesn’t know if she has it in her to do this shit again – especially seeing as everyone’s already been quick to swipe up the nice shots, leaving her with the option to do some kind of Midori and milk concoction, or what appears to be Sambuca.
Gross.
You see, after landing an internship at Betoota CBD’s most established media buying agency, Juggernaut Media, Lily had been fully prepared to knuckle down and make the most of her business degree and several years working in Telstra (the latter being far more useful).
But though she’d expected to be thrown into the deep end with work, Lily hadn’t accounted for the sheer amount of hedonism she’d have to partake in to be ‘a part of the crew’.
And god, can these cunts party.
Following off the back of the Melbourne Cup, Lily reports that the office has been going hard for a whole month now, and that it’s expected to get even more hectic the closer they get to Christmas.
“I never thought I’d be one to complain about partying”, says Lily, “or free alcohol.”
“But I haven’t shit straight for a week.”
