In some breaking news from our Betoota Ponds this afternoon, it can be revealed that there isn’t actually an organised ‘Fight Club’ at the local high school.
This comes after a week’s worth of reports from the Betoota Bugle (the News Corp paper in town) that there is a ‘disturbing and disgusting organised fighting scene at Betoota Ponds High.’
However, despite A Current Affair reportedly contacting the school for a story so they can play some pixelated version of some teenagers fighting, local Year 10 student Brayden Williams told us there’s actually nothing going on.
“Honestly, I just filmed a couple of the boys throwing hands last week and put it on Tik Tok,” he said.
“And it just got heaps of views and shit.”
“Like, I’m not really sure why people are saying there’s a fight club, it was just cause James hooked up with Will’s girlfriend at a party and then he found out and then he said meet me at the bus stop and then they just sorted it out,” said Williams.
“Shit like this happens pretty much every week at Betoota Ponds High, I’m not really sure why they are trying to make out like there’s something more to it.”
“I know most people in the media wouldn’t know how to throw hands and went to schools where this shit never happens, but honestly, it’s just a punch on that got filmed,” Williams said.
“You shoulda seen the one I was in last year.”
“My parents always talk about the fights that happened when they were at school too, so I don’t think it’s anything new.”
“Anyway yeah, it’s not a fight club, there’s just fights, and sometimes some films them.”
“Oi, while I’m talking to ya, seeing as I’ve done this interview, can you buy me some Little Fat Lamb?”
