New WBA/WBO/IBF heavyweight champion of the world, Andy Ruiz Jr, has won one for the big mans, husky gents, portly men and bigfellas of the world over the weekend in Madison Square Garden as the happy-go-lucky Mexican knocked out defending champion Anthony Joshua in the seventh round.

The 29 year-old, who identifies as a ‘gran hombre’, was the underdog in the content with the British Joshua himself expecting to mop the proverbial floor with Andy.

However, this turned out much different for the Londoner.

Speaking to the media this morning at JFK International Airport in New York City, the buck-twenty warhorse said he dedicated this win to his family, friends and the big husky gents of the world.

“This one is for the big men. For the ones who don’t look like they belong in a museum. You don’t have to look like a statue to be the greatest fighter on the planet,”

“Guys, this one is for you. You can do anything. Don’t let some smooth-talking poon with a six-pack tell you that you can’t do something. Just get out and do something,”

“This one is for you. I’m the king of the world!”

More to come.
