The former Premier of New South Wales, Gladys Berejiklian, has told reporters in Sydney today that she always followed the best health advice when making decisions before trailing off into a stream of apathetic rambling.
”I always followed the best health advice,” she said.
She paused then began to speak.
”Oh fuck it. I couldn’t give a fuck anymore. Go fuck yourself, guys. You journalists are all off my Christmas card list.”
The former Premier’s comments come after news broke this morning that outlined that the Chief Health Officer of NSW, Dr Kerry Chant, made the suggestion that instead of just locking down the working-class suburbs of Western Sydney when the delta outbreak spread there from Bondi, they should’ve just locked down the whole sorry fucking city that caused this mess.
In doing so, the NSW Government caused untold misery in the area and subjected the people of Western Sydney to largely unfair and classist measures that ultimately did fuck all in preventing the spread of this virus through the community.
The Advocate reached out to Ms Berejiklian for further comment but were told she couldn’t give a fuck about us or what we had to say. She even went as far as telling The Advocate’s editor, Clancy Overell, to put on some Fleetwood Mac, draw the curtains, light some candles, get down on the floor and get comfortable, roll the piece of paper with his questions for her on it and shove it up his arse.
More to come.
