A seemingly normal local man has this week shown his true colours.

Blayne Gabbert (32) from Betoota Plains has revealed to his friendship group that he is still sleeping with the fan on.

The horrifying revelation comes despite the Betoota Channel Country being gripped by one of the coldest winters in recent memory.

While all of his friends are doing what they can to stay warm during the frosty nights, Gabbert has confirmed that he actually has the ceiling fan pumping during his 8 hours of restless sleep.

The local psycho confirmed that he actually sleeps with a fan all year around.

“Yeah, doesn’t matter how cold it gets. I sleep with the fan on,” revealed Gabbert today.

“Even if it drops below zero, I want the fan humming above my head. If it gets that cold, I just snuggle up in a little ball underneath the blankets,” said the superficially average local man.

“I need it to sleep,” said Gabbert, offering a shocking insight into the way his brain works.

“It’s not really about the cold, it’s more about just keeping the air circulating in the room. I hate it when it’s still.”

“That and the white noise it makes, it rocks me off to sleep.”

“So I can dream about being tearing the wings off flies and becoming a serial killer,” he laughed, letting out a Joker like laugh and ending the conversation.
