Look out Gold Coast residents, there’s a bunch of fellas who’ve just landed and are ready to paint the town red.
Reports from the nation’s glitter strip have just emerged that the Deputy Prime Minister of Australia has just touched down in Coolangatta to enjoy his Bucks Party.
The newly engaged leader of the Nationals has just arrived in Queensland with a bunch of other senior party figures in tow, for what is set to be a big few days for the team.
The Federal Liberal Party have been told they are riding solo for the rest of the week, after the likes of Barnaby, David Littleproud, Mark ‘Coultdog’ Coulton and Matt Canavan flicked the email to Out Of Office and boarded a flight to the Coast.
The decision came after Barnaby Joyce took a knee over the weekend, proposing at a restaurant in Coffs Harbour.
With the proposal signed off on, the Nats leaders have decided to celebrate, with a backpackers booked neared Surfers for the next few nights.
Somehow managing to avoid the likes of Scomo getting the heads up and trying to get an invite, the Nats are currently ripping into a case of UDLs to get the ball rolling before heading out to drink at a disgustingly fast rate.
At the time of press old Coultdog and Barnaby are running the younger fellas through a few ground rules, with an excited Littleproud eating UDL’s at a pace where he might be having a little nap soon.
The crew are set to roll out on a party boat this afternoon, with no confirmation of what might be taking place when the vessel has moved away from the public view.
An incident has already taken place with Matt Canavan trying to bring along one of his deadshit mate’s who lives on the coast – an idea that was quickly hosed down.
However, with their fresh bucks party shirts that Littleproud got made up and the plastic coming off the third deck of darts, the mood is still euphoric ahead of a big few days.
Much more to come.
