Bernard Tomic has today told the media that he is bored with the entire reason they know who he is, and couldn’t care less about the pinnacle of his career as a tennis player.
Tomic who made the headlines for his woeful 6-4, 6-3, 6-4 loss to German veteran Mischa Zverev – in what has been described as Australia’s worst performance since WWII.
Speaking to the media after the match, Tomic suggested that he couldn’t care less about the result, which many people have found to be quite funny, considering his whole identity and livelihood is based around the result.
“…I felt a little bit bored out there to be completely honest with you. You know, I tried at the end and he managed to win that set 6-3 or 6-4, but it was too late.”
Given his lack of tertiary training and experience working outside of tennis, it is assumed that Tomic will continue playing sport even though it doesn’t bring about an emotional reaction.
