One of Betoota’s biggest micro-influencers has switched up her usual Instagram content today with an uncharacteristic visit to an art gallery.

After weeks of posting nothing but top down shots of her weekend margaritas and a few low light selfies with her girl gang in various restaurant bathrooms, local girl Britnee Walters (25) spent Sunday cruising the halls of BONA, Betoota’s Old and New Art museum.

Followers say Brittnee kickstarted her story with a moody shot of an empty hallway geotagged with the BONA location sticker, before peppering her Instagram with a few pieces of art which she made unrecognisable by coating her content with a black and white filter.

Walking the halls of the gallery, it appears Britnee even took the time to pay the additional $25 to attend the new “J Days” exhibit, a bold, thought-provoking exhibition which explores the cultural and historical impact of Jay Jays stores and the fabric of early 2000’s Australian fashion.

Speaking to one follower, 24-year-old Betoota Ponds tradie Jacksen Campbell, it’s believed Britnee’s new content arc was a real switch up from her regular “night out with the girlies” aesthetic.

“Yeah I never knew Britt was such an art buff, this is new territory for her,” said Jacksen, who himself hasn’t stepped inside the gallery since a Year 7 art excursion.

“She usually just posts cocktails and the cool house parties that I don’t get invited to, but it’s good to see her mix it up.”

“I’ve been trying to slip into her DM’s for months so of course I liked her story, I’m hoping she’ll see I’m just a guy that likes arty stuff too!”

More to come.
