TikTokification is not the only thing threatening the usability of Instagram.
According to a recent study into the habits of Aussie Instagram users, having a wealth of friends on grammable European holidays is also forcing users to switch off the app and do something more fun like step on a nail or eat a salad sandwich.
However, one thing that makes other people’s holidays easier to hear about is when they are an absolute nightmare.
It is for that reason Instagram user Selina Gracen (28) has kept up to date with her friend Gabby’s holiday.
“Poor Gabs has had to buy all new everything because Qantas lost her luggage,” stated Gracen, looking at one of her mate’s 90 text heavy Insta stories about why Qantas can get fucked.
“She hasn’t even had a chance to go to the beach yet.”
While Gracen would love to be in Europe right now, her overseas trip is not for another three months, which means she will not care about airline drama for another 90 days.
“No I feel bad for her, I really do. I hope my inevitable lost baggage one day brings comfort to her next time she is not on holiday.”
