An interstate hens party is about to hit hyperdrive this evening, as a mini-bus packed with local girls from Betoota tears through the Gold Coast.

Packed to the rafters with 18 women from Betoota Ponds, it’s understood the mood is high and the rosé is flowing on the stretch party bus bound for a Magic Mike tribute show in Surfers Paradise.

Gathered to celebrate the nuptials of one Rachel Norton, it’s believed the weekend going under the hashtag #NaughtyNortonSaidYes has been a standout success, a surprise given that both mothers of the bride and groom were invited to the occasion.

Speaking to hens organiser Sara Patil (32), it’s believed the mother of the bride, Helen Norton, has been the most rowdy over the weekend.

“We did a ‘Paint the Penis’ class this morning, before a long lunch and now this karaoke party bus has been doing laps around the canals.”

“I’ve got us two front row booths at the Magic Mike show and let’s just say both the Mums in our group seem the most keen to see the fireman and their hoses.”

Taking charge of the karaoke microphone in the centre of the bus, witnesses say Helen was paying high odds to be kicked out of the show before the finale, such is her clear lust to get a little touchy feely with the ripped thoroughbreds on display.

“Now girls behave your… SELVES,” directed Helen to the girls with a playful smirk, leaning into her career as a high school maths teacher to pretend to discipline the party goers.

“When we get in there, we can’t touch ‘the dancers’,” she said, making a dramatic show of quotation marks with her fingers.

“NO touching, not until I get to first HAHAHA,” she cackled, “Let’s go girls!”

More to come.
