In some findings that really shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone, it’s been discovered that there is a direct correlation between those who tried to move things with their minds as a kid, and adults who now employ ‘manifestation’ techniques – the art of bringing something into your life by focusing your thoughts on it.
This law of attraction technique was the premise of the bestselling book ‘The Secret’, which exploded in popularity after it was featured on Oprah and has now been rebranded as ‘manifestation.’
Taking Tik Tok by storm, manifestation is now all about tapping into your ‘divine feminine’ energy, and employing techniques such as journaling, visualising or vocalising your desired outcome and channelling your energy into it. Which, seeing as the target audience mostly seems to be Gen Z and millennial women, centres mostly on trying to get a bloke to text you.
Though this discovery has been an easy connection to make, it’s unsure at this point what the bloke version of trying to shoot webs like Spiderman is, but our reporter will do some more digging.
