A French Quarter bloke has found himself copping one hell of an icy stare this morning, after trying to make his girlfriend feel better by responding ‘it’s not the end of the world’, to her frustrations, it’s reported.
Harry Thorncutt [32] is alleged to have been listening to Tamara have a mini melt down over an incident at work involving her superior essentially throwing her under the bus, when he thought he’d help out by pointing out that she could be a child in Africa, who doesn’t have drinkable water.
By utilising this strategy, Harry had figured he could help Tamara see that she really doesn’t have any big problems at all if she really takes the time to think about things rationally.
“I think you’re spending too much time worrying about something that hasn’t happened yet”, he said, describing essentially what anxiety is, “it’s not that bad babe.”
“At least you have a job.”
“It’ll be fine.”
Unsure why Tamara stopped mid convo to gape at him with utter fury, Harry simply doubled down by saying it’s not worth getting worked up about something that’s outside of her control.
“You’ve got two legs to walk on, you know?”
“You’ll be right.”
