In some sadder news, it looks like 2022 has broken up yet another couple – Betoota French Quarter’s resident ‘couples goals’ Michelle Long [22] and Brian Foster [23].
It’s alleged Michelle and Brian had met as children, when fate had them living just doors down from one another. After years of friendship, the two had naturally progressed into a healthy, loving couple and ticked off everything in the couple bingo – such as sharing a rental, assembling IKEA furniture together, and creating an Instagram account for their two cats, Molly and Sooty. But now after fifteen years, acquaintances of Michelle and Brian deeply suspect the couple may have called it quits. Which makes for a hot take of gossip in the small but bustling Betoota French Quarter.
Our reporter speaks to the resident gossip Izzy [22], for some intel on the situation.
“Nothing’s official, but they both changed their profile pictures at the same time”, says Izzy.
“It used to be a picture of them together, but now Michelle’s is a selfie and Brian’s a pic of him looking rather lost.”
“Like it doesn’t take a detective to work that one out.”
Izzy adds that Michelle’s social media activity has quadrupled since the profile pic change and that the majority of the content is centred on her either having a good time or getting her kit off at the beach. Brian’s, however, has remained as quiet as ever, with the profile pic change being the first sign of activity in two years.
Izzy’s friend Georgia reckons, ‘something pretty dodge happened.”
“Yeah, they’re not friends on Facebook anymore so I reckon one of them did the dirty.”
“Brian’s been untagged in a lot of shit so my bet is on him.”
