Office worker and covert cannabis enthusiast Mezz Amari (29) has made mistake he can’t just giggle off.
During an office-hours conversation regarding the weight of a package co-worker Linda Elliott (33) was ordering from the USA, Amari outed himself as a stoner by providing an un-Googled understanding of how ounces convert to grams.
“0.035 ounces to a gram or roughly 28 grams to an ounce,” stated Amari with an efficiency that would have sounded professional if it had not accidentally shed light on his drug habit.
“800 grams to a quart.”
“Fuck.”
Amari’s explanation was initially met with a few sniggers, raised eyebrows and a few dated references to Cheech and Chong.
“Haha, we smoking dog shit man?”
According to Amari, now that the scandalous dust has settled he has noticed his co-workers are now treating him differently.
“I was eating my lunch and Linda asked me if I had the munchies. People keep asking me if I know where the scissors are. Of course, I know where they are, they’re at home. Next to my lighter.”
“At least if they sack me I can use my business cards as roach material.”
