Staring at his mother with a look of genuine heartbreak, local toddler Jamie Bowen’s lip begins to quiver.
He can’t believe that she would do this to him. He thought she loved him? Yet here she is, telling him he cannot, under any circumstances, put the dog’s ball in his mouth.
But WHY?
He just doesn’t understand.
“Jamie, no, give it back”, she’d said, before prying the soggy tennis ball from his sticky fingers, “not for you!”
But why not for him? If it gives Oscar so much joy, why can’t he chew on it too?
His mother must hate him, that’s why.
Taking one last glance at his mother, who was now holding the ball by a thread with a look of sheer disgust on her face, Jamie lets out an eye piercing wail before dramatically flopping face first onto the floor.
More to come.
