As one of the Diamantina’s most in demand cosmetic surgeons, Dr Tom Tucks gets the satisfaction of seeing his best work out in public on the streets of Betoota everyday.
A graduate from the West Queensland Advanced College of Cosmetic Medicine, Dr Tom has been nipping and tucking many of the new money types in town for the past five years and has built a strong client base from those working in the real estate industry.
A specialist in facial balancing and enhancing, cheek augmentation and rhinoplasty, Tommie has a long client list of local real estate agents who continue to pump thousands of dollars into his private practice.
Yet this morning Dr Tom has been asked if he’s willing to break new ground and improvise a little in a consultation with Harrison Bawley-Edwards (31), the owner of high-end boutique agency “The Door Knob Collective”.
“Yeah so my AirPods keep falling out, I’ve lost about five pairs this year,” explained Harrison, as he paced about the room wearing a new three-piece from Politix.
“They’re so vital to me, so do you reckon you could just weld them straight to my ear canal?”
Unsure whether it was medically sensible to melt a small hunk of bluetooth enabled plastic to human bone, Dr Tom decided much like his clientele, when given the choice to provide an honest service or just rinse his clients for as much money as possible, it was smart to take the money and run.
“Yeah, I reckon I probably could,” replied Tom as he began marking up his client’s ear with a texta.
“The demand in the market is building so let’s lock these ones in now and reassess another surgery when the 4th gen AirPod models come out.”
More to come.
