Australia’s newfound desire to watch the English suffer has not yet been satisfied, as the Lionesses booked themselves a World Cup Final appearance after a hard fought match against our beloved Tillies last night.
It would seem Australia is hosting the wrong referendum this year, and should be focusing on yet another vote to become a republic, with our nation’s opinion of the British at an all time low.
After treating us like a backwater colony full of antipodean idiots for the duration of the 2023 Ashes, the imperialist colonising pigs of England are wary of Australia’s thirst for their blood.
First it was that Bazball bullshit, then it was their ‘Spirit Of The Game’ whinging about the tactics chosen by the Australian cricketers to retain the Ashes. Then we have to listen to Piers Morgan talk absolute shit about sportsmanship – like a country the size of Tasmania with no manufacturing, agriculture or tourism – whose entire economy is built on the back of colonialism and slavery – is in any position to talk about what is fair.
However, the semifinals of the FIFA Womens World Cup was just not to be for the Australians, and we must continue strategising in our efforts to humiliate the United Kingdom on the world stage.
While their Womens soccer side doesn’t exactly ooze the same London boy arrogance as their mens cricket side, their success last night only adds to the growing anti-English sentiment right across Australia.
And right now, it looks like our next opportunity to do so will be with the Wallabies, our unexpected but very fighting fit heroes in the green and gold.
The battlefield will be the 2023 Rugby Union World Cup in France.
