The Duke and Duchess Sussex are now staring down the barrel of a life of hard work, after being left with now option but to estrange themselves from the Royal Family

This comes after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry sat down with Oprah Winfrey in an interview on US network CBS, which aired in Australia last night.

The Duchess of Sussex said there were a lot of very elitist British comments made within the halls of the palace about both her, and her unborn son, when it was first revealed that the couple had fallen pregnant.

Markle also said that Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge made her cry prior to her 2018 wedding – a revelation that has surprised no one because no one expects a family of spoilt inbreds to really be that nice to each other.

The interview has caused a lot of grief for the outdated institution that is a British Royal Family, which is basically just a bunch of hedonistic women and incompetent men who are paid by the tax-payer to look at newborn babies and meet touring sporting teams that don’t know who they are.

However, the interviews has caused divisions between Harry and his family to grow even wider than when he decided to enlist in the War in Afghanistan and become the first man his entire family to actually have a job where he takes orders from commoners.

As they embark on a new life in North America, Harry and Meghan have made the heartbreaking confession to Oprah Winfrey that they will be starting at square one.

“So basically…” said Harry.

“Now we are left with nothing but a multimillion dollar Netflix deal and heaps of nice clothes”

“As well as heaps of jewellery”

“and, I guess, the celebrity status that allows us the economic emancipation that comes with being paid to turn up to high-society events like Wall Street AGMs and the opening of a new hotel”

The pair will host and produce podcasts in a deal estimated to be worth around $25 million. Harry and Meghan hope to promote “different perspectives” and feature interviews with “amazing people.”

While the Netflix deal might just keep the lights on in Vancouver, or LA, or wherever they end up – it will still be a tough slog for this young family as they strive to make a life of their own.

As Meghan puts it, it’s almost impossible to imagine being in America right now with no health care and stable income.

“I’ve never heard of anyone who has had to live like that” she says.

“Worse comes to worst, I guess I can get a part time job as a co-lead on a major network TV legal drama”

MORE TO COME.
