Notorious NRL and Super Rugby player agent, Khoder Nasser has today confirmed that his client Quade Cooper has put ink to paper as the official ‘life-saver’ signing at Queensland Reds… For the next three seasons.

The announcement has resulted in a huge exhale for both the club and fans, who are sick and tired of their post 2011 premiership lull.

Cooper joins the already announced Leroy Houston (29 years old – 3 x year contract), George Smith (36 year old – 2 x year contract) as Super Rugby favourites. But that’s not all.

Spokespeople from Ballymore have today announced that the 34-year-old former-Red, Morgan Turinui will also sign in the next week, with an estimated 6-year contract – as well as former-teamate Rodney ‘Rodzilla’ Blake, who was seen at Brisbane airport this morning.

It is believed Blake has been flown in to talk contract negotiations with the Reds this morning, after wrapping up a stellar third season for the Mackay Stingers in the North Queensland Rugby Championships.

For the Reds, they can start plotting towards a much-improved season with Cooper, Stephen Moore, George Smith, Leroy Houston and likely Brisbane Broncos capture Lachlan Maranta as new recruits.
