French rugby league club Catalan Dragons have sensationally pulled off a second huge signing today.

After signing controversial former Wallaby Israel Folau overnight, the club who takes anyone has just announced that they’ve also landed the signature of Margaret Court.

Immediately after Israel Folau’s signing, Super League team the Wigan Warriors announced that they would be hosting a pride game in their Round 6 matchup with the Catalan Dragons where players will wear rainbow laces and socks.

The move has shocked the entire rugby league community, with Margaret Court never having played a game of rugby league let alone played for an NRL team.

Edging towards her 78th year on this seemingly godforsaken planet, the controversial tennis great who believes transgender kids and gay people are the work of the devil says she can’t wait to get into training with the club.

“I’m really keen to get over there and rip in. I’m looking at working on becoming a rampaging backrower who can run really strong lines and come out of the line and make huge hits,” she said.

“Obviously I’m really excited to link up with Izzy and give the team a few sermons about vilifying people and inciting hatred.”

“I can’t wait for John McEnroe and Martina Navratilova to find out I’ve just signed a big-money offer,” she laughed.

It’s not yet known when Court will make her now highly anticipated Super League debut.
