The Diamantina Anglican College says that aside from the twenty or so pedophiles that have been caught lurking their classrooms and boarding house for the last couple decades, you really can’t get an education like the one they offer anywhere else.
Despite a large number of past students and their families spruiking the benefits of attending this iconic private school, it is common acknowledge that your child would be far more likely to get molested within this institution than at the local public high school.
“It really was a tough decision to make” said one local parent, Annette Dymock-Hill (44), mother to Jack and Angus (year 10 & 12).
“Their father and grandfather went there, and so does all the kids in our social circle. We couldn’t send them anywhere else really”
Another mother, Margot Whitely (mother of rugby captain Hugo Whitely) says if you take away the scary findings that came out of the Royal Commission in Institutional Responses to Child Sex Abuse, you really can’t find a better place to send your kids.
“The rugby programs is great. DAC isn’t as good as the public schools with all the Maori boys, but it does well considering it is mostly ‘Australian’ students”
The prestigious College refused to comment on their pedo-to-non-pedo teacher ratio, but says their new bagpipe program should really be thing we are writing articles about.
