NRL audiences are demanding answers regarding what exactly Dylan Walker said to Curtis Scott to make him fracture the Manly five-eighth’s eye socket with three clean blows to the face.
The all-in brawl at the 58th minute saw the Manly v Melbourne match explode into life on Saturday, costing Curtis Scott a potential State of Origin start after he he absolutely massacred Dylan Walker’s face.
Local Manly supporter, Brooke Vale (26) says that while it’s a huge convenience to lose Walker for up to six weeks, she needs to know what he said, because it must have been red hot.
“No one fires them off like that anymore. Walks has gone and said something fucked up”
“I mean, you’ve got to imagine that he deserved it”
NRL CEO Todd Greenberg also wants to know.
“Haha. It must have been so crook” he said.
“I’ve sent directives to Walker’s coaching staff to find out what he said. Everyone here in HQ really want to know haha”
Shortly after the explosive punch on, the Storm centre was thrown a red card, making him the first player to be sent off in the NRL since 2015.
Walker and Sea Eagles hooker Apisai Koroisau were also sin-binned for their roles in the melee, in a match that ended in a drubbing for the hosts, 24-4 in Manly’s favour.
