Donald Trump was met with a warm and peaceful reception in Harlem, New York this morning – after making a surprising appearance at a community event aimed at creating unity between America’s most downtrodden minority groups.
Shortly his recent campaign rally in the Florida township of Boca Raton, the presidential hopeful directed his private jet straight to NYC, before catching the Subway the city’s north, in the multi-cultural hub of Harlem.
Throughout his fifty-six minute speech, Trump made a point of inviting both Islamic, African-American and Hispanic community leaders on stage to iterate the fact that in order for America to move forward, they need to work together.”
“This country was built on the backs of hardworking people from all walks of life,” said Donald Trump in a sincere and impassioned sermon.
“I have many close friends and business associates that are both black, white, Muslim and latino,”
“Some of the world’s greatest scholars would have been considered ‘thugs’ in our current political climate. I do feel we need to work especially hard to provide the same opportunities to every citizen,”
“Every hard working American deserves the right to a college education. Every hard working American deserves the right to not live in poverty. Society is only as strong as its weakest link,”
“Let us end the divide between classes, let us end police brutality, let us unite as one and work together to help make America great again!”
His stirring words were met with a ten minute standing ovation from the thousand-strong audience that included the likes of Spike Lee, Reverend Jesse Jackson, Geraldo Rivera and Hossein Khosrow Ali Vaziri (The Iron Sheik).
