Not even two weeks into his new role as the Minister Of Defence and Peter Dutton MP has already dropped the ball.
The ADF has been criticised across the board by signing off the idea to hire a twerking troupe of scantily-clad dancers to celebrate the launch of the HMAS Supply in Sydney over the weekend.
The launch of the new $2 billion naval ship in Woolloomooloo was attended by senior Navy officials, the Governor-General and Federal MPs. All of whom were treated to the sexed up performance, which has still not been explained.

The twerking has been described as “inappropriate” by former soldier and Liberal MP Phillip Thompson.
“Standards in the ADF, and definitely when commissioning a ship, should be a little bit higher than that,” he told the ABC.
“We’ve got the CDF, we’ve got members of Parliament there, and the Governor-General’s there, I don’t think it’s appropriate to be twerking.”
This marks the first of many fuck ups that can be expected from the former police officer turned suburban MP that has just been handballed the Defence portfolio in the government’s most recent dash to reshuffle around alleged rapists and alleged rapist protectors in the Federal Cabinet.
However, as far as Dutton’s incompetence goes, Liberal Party insiders say this is quite tame compared to how badly he’s fucked up in the past.
While a performance of young women twerking in leotards might be extremely inappropriate for an audience of mostly elderly top brass and political figures, at least it hasn’t cost the tax-payer that much money, unlike the binfires that Dutton has left burning in his last job at Minister for Home Affairs.
At last estimate, the cost of detaining the young Biloela family on Christmas Island for four years has cost $6 million dollars. Dutton says it’s a small price to pay to send a message to any other brown people who want to work in regional town abattoirs after their bridging visas have expired by 24 hours.
