In some exciting news for the nation, Peter Dutton has made a big announcement regarding ANZAC Day this year.

The recently appointed Defence Minister has revealed that US megastars Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion have been booked to perform at the Parliament House Anzac Day ceremony this year.

The massive headline booking comes after the recent success of a dance routine featuring a bit of twerking during a ceremony commissioning HMAS Supply.

While many in the military and politics have panned the very strange performance, Dutton has now doubled down by chartering a flight to bring the two stars behind the hit song WAP to Canberra.

“This should be the biggest ANZAC day ever,” said the excited former Home Affairs Minister.

“At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will twerk for them.”

“I know I’ll certainly be in the front row with a bucket and a mop on hand,” he laughed.

“Seriously though, I think it’s a great way of showing that the traditional institution funded to protect us in the case of war is up with the times.”

Members of the Australian Defence Force are yet to comment on the booking, but it’s believed that a pre sunrise performance from Cardi and Megan is set to go down a treat.
