After years of being relentlessly targeted both on and off the field, Queensland NRL Reece Walsh has once again proven that he’s more that just a pretty face.

He may drink from the loo, and post videos of it to social media in the lead up to the most important match of the year – but the real question is, what is in the toilet water?

This comes as the star fullback backed up a week of noisy media with a clinical dismantling of Melbourne – in turn sealing a top four finish for the Broncos.

Walsh has been relentlessly hounded by the rugby league media since making his debut as a teenager, mostly because old journos reserve their most venomous criticisms for the half good-looking blokes.

It seems that no amount of clickbait headlines or sickening late hits can stop the 23-year-old footballing prodigy from getting to work when it matters – as Brisbane blew the Melbourne Storm out of the water with a 30-14 scoreline.

In fact, the Melbourne Storm may be taking their frustrations out on the media this week – as the theory circulates that the Broncos were fiercely motivated by a week of over-reaching attempts to generate a season-ending scandal.

Specifically, a viral video that Reece Walsh posted to social media of him drinking the water out of a toilet that had been installed in his house.

While, anyone with a brain could’ve seen that he was standing in the middle of a construction site while filming himself flushing a brand new toilet, but that didn’t stop the media for insinuating that Walsh was a degenerate with poor hygiene.

However, Broncos fans are now begging for Walsh to drink from the toilet every week – after scoring 22 of his side’s 30 points against the Storm, while also nailing a 40-20 and putting on a spectacular one-on-one tackle that will make the NRL highlight reels for generations.

Walsh also performed a antagonistic celebration after putting a ribbon on the match with a crucial try, where he gestured as if to be drinking from the dunny again.
