[dropcap]B[/dropcap]eliebers, rejoice – global superstar Justin Bieber has returned to Australia for a secret finals fan day at Belmore Oval.

The Canadian singer, who is set to take over the iconic Sydney waterfront for a live concert on Wednesday next week, has arrived a week early to show support for his favourite National Rugby League team, the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.

This surprise visit has confirmed all whispers that surrounded the arrival of his private jet at Sydney Airport this morning, initially thought to be the first wave of the 21-year-old’s fifty-man strong entourage.

Speaking exclusively to Kyle and Jackie O from KIIS FM this morning, Bieber revealed that he was initially waiting to see if “the Doggies” made it through the first round of NRL semi-finals, before joining in on the fanfare.

“I was going to wait and see how they went against the Roosters this weekend, but when I found out that Frank Pritchard had been cleared by the tribunal, I couldn’t help myself,”

“I just came straight from the airport in my dogggiesss colours” said Bieber as he signalled to his crotch with both hands, an iconic gesture for Bulldogs fans.

It is believed Mr Bieber has arrived in Sydney early to catch up with his close friend and official pastor, Brian Houston from the Hillsong Church.

“It’s been a couple months since Justin was here, he needs to make good with God,” said Houston, the founder of the iconic Christian sect.

“I didn’t know he was going to be wearing a Bulldogs jersey… I guess he really does need to spend a bit more time in the church” the Pastor joked.

“[Laughter] Because I can tell you one thing… If God has forgotten anyone, it’s those fucking Bulldogs fans”

The Canadian singer will take over the iconic waterfront for a live concert on Wednesday, September 30 to promote his new single, What do you Mean?

The exact location is secret, dubbed #Bieberisland, with fans having to compete for a place at the event, presented by KIIS radio and iHeartRadioAU Australia.

Bieber tweeted on Thursday he would be back Down Under, ahead of his new album release on November 13.

‘Good news. In September I’m coming back to Australia for #whatdoyoumean. Get ready :),’ he told fans.

It is believed Bieber will remain in Australia long enough to see his favourite Western Sydney rugby league play out their season.

“I’m really hoping the boys can bring home the silverware. I have been following them since my first visit in 2010. It would be a really good way to see off a few of the older blokes,”

“Up the fucking’ doggies!”
