In some news that will appease Australia’s Little Man Syndrome on the global stage, our navy has reportedly sent shock waves around the world.
Following the viral success of the Australian Navy’s Elite Twerk Division at the commissioning of HMAS Supply in Sydney, the French Foreign Legion is set to follow our lead.
The huge news was announced by the French President Emmanuel Macron, who confirmed that the Legion will now be conducting training at the fabled Moulin Rouge theatre.
“Ooh là là, what a performance that was,” said Macron today, graciously deciding to speak to us in English, unlike 99% of his counterparts.
“Certainly dangerous and lethal, so we have decided to try and replicate something like that here.”
The French Foreign Legion is an elite military service branch of the French Army established in 1831, famous for its rigorous training program.
And now it is set to move it’s base to the fabled Moulin Rouge stage, depicted in the cult war hit of the same name from 2001.
“This will certainly have a certain je ne sais quoi about it to say the least,” said Macron today.
“We are hoping to bring those young ladies over to help Nicole train our new sets of recruits.”
More to come.
