In some breaking news from the French Quarter, it can be revealed that a local father consumed a few alcoholic beverages the other night.
The confirmation comes in the form of some squiggly little athletic track lines, that look a little bit like the skid marks you see on the back road leading out of a regional town.
“Yeah, they aren’t exactly straight as an arrow are they,” laughed some bloke walking his dog down at the park.
“But, full credit to the dad or volunteer for getting down there and marking those lines when he was clearly battling,” he said.
“That’s more impressive than little Brayden running a 15 second hundred if you ask me.”
“That bloke was clearly struggling, but he dug deep and found a way to get the job done.”
“And he probably had the prospect of some ancy helicopter parents bearing down on him in the coming hours while he was marking it.”
“So, as much as I have a chuckle at the left to right nature of that track, my hat goes off to him.”
More to come.
