I ASK FOR JUSTICE: As hundreds of thousands of pilgrims gather in St Peter’s Square to honour the new leader of the Catholic Church, the Australian Prime Minister’s staff members have had to find a quiet room in the Vatican to briefly discuss domestic events.

As Albanese prepares to attend the inauguration of Pope Leo XIV, it seems he might’ve missed some important updates from back home.

Namely, the continuous demise of his political enemies.

After securing over 90 seats at the 2025 Federal Election, with Labor MPs ousting both the leader of the Greens and the leader of the Liberal Party, the Prime Minister felt confident enough in his political standing to leave the country for several weeks.

And it seems that after meeting the new Pope, and being invited back for a second sit down, Albanese may very well be ready to re-embrace his Catholic faith.

In what can only be put down to either divine intervention or extremely well-calculated political strategy, the Australian Prime Minister’s enemies continue to topple alongside the RBA cash rate.

This comes as the Federal Opposition shrinks from 45 seats to below 30, as the National Party announces their decision to not form a Coalition with the Liberals.

Albanese’s staffers have had a lot of messages to pass on to the Australian leader, as he lights up a cigarette in a darkened back room at the Vatican.

After being informed of the leadership changes in both the Greens and the Liberals, the attempted leadership change in the Nationals, the Reserve Bank’s interest rate cut and the absolute annihilation of the Coalition, Albanese’s staffers ask the Prime Minister if he has any regrets for the way things have turned out.

“No. This I have to do” he says.

“They keep saying they’re innocent. It insults my intelligence and makes me angry.”

“They have to answer for the Indigenous Voice”
