Fans of the epic British crime series Peaky Blinders are reveling in a new episode of their favourite show dropping every week.

Peaky Blinders is arguably the greatest product of the British gangster genre of all time.

Set in Birmingham in the year after the end of the First World War, The series centres on the Peaky Blinders gang and their ambitious and highly cunning boss Tommy Shelby, a veteran of the Somme.

The TV show is so popular that it has entered the ‘cosplay’ realm of TV and film programs.

Similar to Star Wars and the the Marvel franchises, Peaky Blinders is now at the subject of dress-up festivals and video games – there’s also talks of an official film and various spin-offs.

With season five finishing on a typically epic finale, fans are now enjoying the 6th series.

Starting in 1919, the series timeline is now verging towards the 1930s.

However, the it has been confirmed that most of the show has still revolved around long shots of well-dressed entourages of pommy gangsters walking through working-class Birmingham in slo-mo.

“This season we have decided to focus on the walking shots,” said a spokesperson for the BBC today.

“We’ve had to order thousands of packets of unfiltered old-timer cigarettes” said the spokesperson.

“Everyone knows you can’t have a slo-mo walking shot unless everyone is smoking”

The BBC has also confirmed that 40% of the production budget has been spent on tailored suits and on-site hairdressers.

“Our fans seem to love the costuming more than anything else”

“From Bondi to Belfast, every single British kid under 30 has a Tommy Shelby haircut”
