Hollywood, the home of the US film industry is today basking in its own glow.
This comes as the world celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing.
Released in 1969 the full-length feature film, was received to world acclaim with hundreds of millions tuning in to the live release.
The event has riled up the nation’s and world’s bong head mates who are angry about the proportion of people who ‘still believe the moon landing was real.’
While Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin didn’t receive Academy Awards for their starring and co-starring roles in the film that wowed the world, they were today greeted by loud cheers by the people at NASA who were hosting a commemorative event for some reason.
Still under fire for their failure in allowing a can of Coca-Cola to roll across the screen while the world watch on, Hollywood said they look back on the historic event with pride and satisfaction.
“It’s our greatest and proudest achievement, and it’s nice to be able to look back on it all and celebrate the film,” said a spokesperson for Hollywood.
“And it’s worth saying thank you to the boys and girls that like having a few hot ones and deep-diving into YouTube to stick up for us on the internet and at house parties after 12 am.”
