A run-of-the-mill kind of bloke named Nathan has made life very hard for a poorly prepared wedding photographer over the weekend.
Nathan, a 30-year-old high school mate of the groom who works in an building strata administration, whipped out his best smart casual attire for the holy matrimony.
However, his thin navy and off-white pin striped shirt has thrown a curve ball at the professional photo-taker, after it became clear that the camera was not able to pick up the pattern.
This has caused the photos to come up rather distorted and wavy.
Nathan, who was oblivious to the dramas that his high fashion had caused the people working behind the scenes at the wedding, received many compliments from other guests who told him several times that he ‘scrubs up alright’ when he decides to wear a possibly ironed, button-up shirt.
“Yeah bought this ages ago” he says to another friend, who was wearing a similar shirt but with thicker, easier to photograph pin stripes.
“Haven’t worn it in ages. I thought it was good for today because they said you didn’t need to wear a tie and I didn’t just wanna go plain shirt”
At time of press, the bride was finding a way to crop Nathan out of most photos of the guests, so as to not ruin the aesthetic of the day, which was a soft lense kind of rustic wedding.
