The nation’s AFL fans have today submitted an official inquiry to Channel 7, demanding to know what the did wrong to get yelled at by footy commentator Cameron Ling.
What was once thought to be a run-of-the-mill ex-player getting a little bit excited about good Aussie rules football has now gotten to the point where people think they might be in trouble.
This comes after the iconic auburn-haired media personality begins to ramp up his finals dash commentary, often just flat out yelling down the camera like a Vietnam War platoon senior drill instructor.
The Betoota Advocate had reporters present at AFL households around the country last night, in an attempt to witness the spray in action.
“Jeez. Lay off Lingy… I can hear ya mate” says 87-year-old Essendon football fan, Victor Ryan.
“What the fuck did I do wrong?”
In an official statement, Cameron Ling says he just wanted to make sure the audiences were watching as closely as he was, as there has been some spectacular football this year.
“I DON’T WANT YOU TO MISS OUT! NONE OF YOU!” he told our reporters.
“PLUS, I WANNA MAKE SURE YOU CAN HEAR ME”
“THIS IS GOOD FOOTBALL! SPECTACULAR FOOTBALL”
