A young insurance claim worker has today made the mortal mistake of complaining about her life to her friend, who has a monopoly on all forms of fatigue, it’s reported.
Naomi Harris [20] is said to have made a phone call, looking bleary-eyed and slightly disheveled from a weekend on the piss.
Slowly blinking, Naomi had muttered something about needing a coffee to wake herself up, citing that she hadn’t had much sleep that night.
And though this was seemingly an innocuous comment, Naomi’s feeble complaints were seen as yet another trigger for friend Debra to launch into one of her ‘you don’t what struggle is’ lectures.
“HAHA oh, YOU’RE tired?”
“God, you don’t know what real tiredness is. You’re only 20.”
“I have three children under the age of ten. I don’t even have time to BREATHE.”
“I don’t remember the last time I had a good night’s rest.”
Looking smugly at a very quiet Naomi – who was very likely trying to curb a pounding headache – a ruffled Debra gets on the defensive, without any provocation.
“BUT I LOVE THEM.”
“I LOVE MY CHILDREN.”
“WOULDN’T CHANGE A THING.”
“BEING A MOTHER IS SO REWARDING.”
