Roads and Maritime Services’ in NSW is currently urging all motorists on the Pacific Highway travelling northbound of Coffs Harbour to be prepared for lengthy delays today.
“We currently have 100 kilometres of slow moving traffic from the turn off at Byron Bay down towards the Maclean Bridge,” said one of the public servants from down south in a perfect monotone today.
“We are urging residents who need to urgently get places look at using back roads to get to major centres like Brisbane and the Gold Coast.”
“We aren’t sure why, but there seem to be tens of thousands of Suzuki Swifts and Ford Focus’ amongst the traffic.”
The large congestion of traffic is believed to be as a result of news that Hollywood heartthrob Zac Efron has broken things off with his girlfriend Vanessa Valladares.
Valladares had reportedly been dating the dreamy hunk for 10 months after she met him while working in a Byron Bay cafe.
Efron has been residing in Australia since March last year, shooting various bits of content like a thriller for Stan titled Gold.
However, since the news broke that the High School Musical star has called it quits after a whirlwind romance in the new linen outpost, he has become arguably the hottest property in the entire country.
With a News Eve amount of people currently descending on Byron Bay, it’s believed the once humble town is set to have its bars, pubs, restaurants and cafes filled to the brim with people hoping to have a little fairytale Hollywood story of their own.
It’s also being reported that every single, single, female waitress in the area is now also volunteering to do overtime at lowly paid jobs in the hopes that the big fella rolls in for a coffee.
More to come.
