A local woman has had the hairs at the back of her neck stand up after stumbling across an aggressively straight edge guy with references to The Office scattered throughout his Hinge account.
“The first red flag was “No” for smoking, drinking, weed, or drugs…” recounted Ayra Khatri (26).
“Like not even sometimes? You had to select No? It’s so aggressive.”
The next red flag Ayra came across was the man’s photos.
“He had a photo of him and a dog for every image, even more suspicious was that it was a different dog on each photo!” said Ayra.
“How many dogs does he have access to??”
For once, Ayra found herself in the strange position of actually looking fondly on men showing off their fishing acquisitions.
“At least that’s honest, you know a guy showing off a fish on his Hinge profile isn’t doing it for show”
What really sent shivers down Ayra’s spine was the mans bio: “Looking for the Pam to my Jim :)”
“Alarm bells were really ringing then, this man was either AI or extremely suspicious”
Ayra says she swiftly swiped left, deleted the app, and briefly reconsidered dating at all.
“Any man that disciplined, that wholesome, and that obsessed with The Office is definitely hiding something.”
