A local tech whizz has proudly announced that he’s finally reached the perfect 50/50 gender quota, by replacing 50% of their workforce with female AI assistants.

Justin Clarke, the newly appointed CEO of ‘Eschaton Tech’ software, tells The Advocate that gender quotas have always been difficult in software considering the majority of applications received are from men.

However, now with the integration of ‘Lucy AI’, Eschaton now boasts a much more balanced gender portfolio.

“Eschaton has always been at the forefront of diversity, especially considering that we used to outsource a good portion of our workforce to India to save money, before realising the communication issues and time differences significantly lowered productivity, which resulted in us hiring onshore again”, says Justin.

“But now Lucy AI allows us to replace all graduate starting positions and customer service roles.”

Justin says considering ‘Lucy AI’ now technically makes up for half the workforce, as she performs tasks that would have been done by the ten workers he just fired.

She is also technically a woman of colour because the software developers are outsourced digital peasants in the Phillipines.

“Hopefully one day soon, women like Lucy will make up the entire workforce.”

“Except for CEO positions, of course.”

More to come.
