ALP powerbroker, Tanya Plibersek, has today vowed to do everything in her power to save the ABC from any further restructuring – so long as the youth broadcaster vows to play at least a couple Cardi B songs a day.
“While it is my duty to protect them. It is also their duty to play more hip hop by WOC” said the acting opposition leader, who claims to be a die-hard fan of the New York rap starlet.
“Cardi B is a big mood” she said.
“Bang her a bit more I reckon”
This comes after hundreds of staff members rallied in the lobby of Ultimo head office, protesting about being told what to do
Prime Minister Scott Morrison said reports Mr Milne called for Alberici to be sacked had not been confirmed. He declined to comment on whether Mr Milne should resign.
Acting Opposition Leader Tanya Plibersek said it would be a “shocking abuse of power” if the Government pressured the ABC to get rid of a reporter.
She’s called on Communications Minister Mitch Fifield to say what he knows about the incident, or else she would have to take action.
“Be careful of me” she said.
